Our Volunteer Coordinator/Event Organizer is Jennifer Beruvides.  Originally from Texas, she earned her Bachelors in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M in 1993 and her Masters in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 1999.  Married to Retired Air Force Colonel Rick Beruvides since 1995, they moved around a bit but settled in the Shreveport area after retirement.  They have two young adult children, Adriana (in dental school) and Steven (at Texas A&M).   

First a parishioner, Jennifer came on board as staff in 2011.  She finds opportunities and needs in the communities and relays them to the congregation.  Within the church she manages the Cooking Crew; a group of volunteers that prepare cooked meals for those in need.  Additionally, Jennifer organizes large congregrational events at St. Mark’s like Rally Day, Annual Meeting, Pentecost Picnic, and numerous welcome and farewell receptions.  She thoroughly loves her job and is always looking for opportunities to help those in the congregation to help those around us as Jesus as tasked us to do.
