I am the Dean of the Cathedral. That means that I’m the Senior Pastor. You can find examples of my preaching, teaching and writing at the links on this page.
My wife Joy and I have been married since 1983. The Lord has blessed us with two terrific sons and a wonderful daughter.
Andrew is our eldest. He serves with the United States Marines as a Navy Corpsman.
His brother, Patrick, is our youngest and attends Caddo Magnet High School.
Our daughter, Meredith, studies music at Northwestern State University.
Here are a few things about me that might be interesting to you:
- I hold the PhD in philosophy and I still believe that Jesus is my Lord and Savior!
- My Golden Retriever’s name is Plato.
- I was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia.
- For fun I like to exercise, walk with my wife, listen to music, and play guitar.
- I love the people of St. Mark’s Cathedral!
