All Christian Formation classes are taking a break for the holidays. All classes resume on January 8, 2012. Dean Jake will be teaching on Philosophy and God and Adult Blend will begin a series on New Year, New Goals.
Pursuant to the by-laws of St. Mark’s Cathedral - the Nominating Committee has nominated the following persons to be elected at the Annual Meeting to be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 to serve three year terms on the Vestry of St. Mark’s Cathedral:

The Annual Meeting will be held in the Parish Hall immediately after the 10:00 am service. Annual reports will be presented and lunch will be served.
It’s time for us to update our database with any changes, additions or deletions that may have occurred in your family this year! - If you have not already informed the Church office about any changes to your record, please let us know now so that the information in our new Guidebook and Directory is correct. Please contact Liz Montelepre in the office at 221-3360.
End of Year Contributions - If you want to mail your 2011 pledges or any other contributions by the end of the year, they must be postmarked by December 31. If you wish to hand deliver them to the church office, they must be in by noon on Friday, December 30 when the office closes for the holidays.
We are grateful to all who have turned in their 2012 pledges – allowing us to continue God’s work at St. Mark’s and in the larger community. Having those pledges in hand by the end of the year is helpful to us in finalizing out budget for 2012. If you have not done so, please turn in your pledge cards to Becky Deverts in the Finance office.
Please make note of our New Year’s Office hours. We close at noon on December 30 and reopen at 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 3. We WILL have Holy Eucharist at 5:30 pm Eucharist on Friday, December 30.
C.I.A. will be going Rollerskating on January 29 - We meet at the Cathedral at 2:00 pm and travel to Hot Wheels Bossier South where we will have the entire rink to ourselves from 2:30-4:30 pm. Refreshments will be provided. We’ll be back at the Cathedral by 5:00 pm. Cost is $10 per person (bring an additional $3 if you want to rent inline skates). Parents are encouraged to attend.

All candidates for Baptism or parents of candidates for infant Baptism are required to meet with the Dean for pre-Baptismal instruction. These meetings are scheduled for Sundays, February 12, April 15, May 20, August 5, September 23 and October 28. Please contact Liz Montelepre at 221-3360 to arrange a Baptismal date.
The Altar Guild has openings for Chapel flowers - on Sundays, February 19 and March 25. Please contact Janet Barlow at jmabarlow@aol.com.
